The Academy offers two methods to deliver courses, Blended Learning & Face-to-Face.
We aim to make our courses as flexible and convenient as possible, so you can get the training you need, when you need it.
What is Blended Learning?
Blended learning is an online learning experience which allows the student to work remotely in their own time, at their own pace, whilst working towards their chosen practical dates. Blended learning is a cost effective way to fit study around your existing responsibilities and commitments with 24/7 access.
Our online courses are an engaging and interactive way to build your knowledge and skills. Students have access to multimedia content interspersed with videos, course resources and useful links. Quick quizzes throughout each topic will further cement your knowledge.
The online mode allows trainers to monitor your progress and offer assistance when needed. Most of the assessments, assignments and exams are within the platform, allowing timely feedback and the ability to re-do sections if required.
The practical assessments are conducted on campus at our locations. You have access to our qualified Trainer/Assessors to mentor you throughout the duration of your course. They are available during business hours via telephone and email to provide you with any support that you may need. The “chat” option within our platform allows you to have real time interaction with your trainer when they are online.
What is Face-to-Face Learning?
Face-to-face learning refers to courses delivered in a classroom environment by a Trainer/Assessor.
Face-to-face courses are suited to students who wish to have that social element of training where they can connect with fellow students and trainers from a wide range of backgrounds. This mode of study combines reading, writing, discussion, collaboration and practical assessment. Students benefit from a trainer being present throughout the course, to answer any questions immediately in an engaging and interactive way.
